The QuestUAV Q200 Post-Processing Kinematic (PPK) drone combines high-resolution aerial photography with high-accuracy topographic data. A dual band GPS/GLONASS receiver on board the PPK drone allows cm-level position referencing of orthomosaics and 3D models without the need on physical Ground Control Points (GCPs).
By removing the need to spend hours or days physically measuring location points and walking the survey site for placement of Ground Control Points, especially in difficult or inaccessible places, the PPK solution is a game changer.

GPS and GLONASS
The Q200 PPK drone is equipped with a dual-frequency L1/L2 receiver tracking both GPS and GLONASS signals. 132 hardware channels allow to simultaneously track all visible GPS/GLONASS satellites.
In parallel, the receiver records the shutter events of the camera and logs the information during the flight on an onboard SD card.
After flight camera positions are corrected by combining GNSS recordings of the aircraft with the corresponding information of the reference base station on the ground, replacing the positions embedded in the images (EXIF data) with more precise cm-level RTK values.

Our autopilots provide selectable levels of user control from full autonomy to manual override. In full autonomous mode, the autopilot provides auto-launch, waypoint navigation, task/payload management and auto-recovery solutions.
In assisted mode, the autopilot provides stabilised flight control in pitch, roll and yaw. Manual override provides the operator with the ability to take complete control at any time during the flight.
Standard mission planning functionality is available and includes common tasks such as survey, monitoring and data acquisition.
Simple to use software enables operators to automatically generate survey grids, select payload and cameras settings, place navigation waypoints, home position and emergency reference point.
Safety settings, including maximum distance limits, battery condition and data-link quality provide additional mission management functions.
The inbuilt telemetry solution provides two levels of data to the ground: essential flight critical and mission management information with the option of full aircraft state and instrumentation outputs.
The powerful software suite includes both routine operational mission management and an integrated data acquisition system. Data can be logged to file for inspection after the flight.
